• Legislative Electric Energy Task Force - This task force of the Minnesota Legislature reviews issues relating to electric industry restructuring and deregulation.
• Fresh Energy - A nonprofit organization leading the transition to a clean, efficient and fair energy system. Focus areas include Clean Energy, Energy Efficiency, Global Warming Solutions, and Transportation & Land Use.

• Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) - Documents issued and received by the agency are searchable in their E-library.
• U.S. Department of Energy - Read press releases, news briefs, or DOE's testimony before Congress.

  • Energy Information Administration - Official energy statistics.
• U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission - Includes licensing and regulatory information about commercial nuclear power reactors in the United States.
• Yucca Mountain Standards - From the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This site provides radiation protection standards for the potential underground geologic repository for spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste.

Renewable Energy

• 25x25: America's Energy Future - Supported financially by the Energy Future Coalition, 25x25 is a non-partisan initiative funded by foundations. The Why Renewables sections describes benefits of several types of renewable power sources.
• American Wind Energy Association - Includes policy pages.
• Clean Energy States Alliance - Member states across the U.S. with established clean energy funds or programs have banded together to promote clean energy technologies.
• DSIRE: Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency - The national database is produced by the North Carolina Solar Center at North Carolina State University.
• Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) - A section of the U.S. Dept. of Energy. Provides access to EREE's informational publications using a keyword search system.
• National Renewable Energy Laboratory - The U.S. Department of Energy's laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development.
• Renewable Energy Policy Project - REPP supports the advancement of renewable energy technology through policy research.
• Renewable Energy - The National Conference of State Legislatures program site includes links to several publications.
